Here is a tip about keeping your sink unclogged and fresh (1) To prevent grease from going down the sink, just wipe out the pot or pan.
(2) Once a week run hot water down the drain to keep it free-flowing into the pipes beneath your kitchen sink.
(3) You know those bad odors that build up in your sink and garbage disposal, well do this: (a) Place some ice cubes and lemon peels in the garbage disposal. (b) Use one or two peels - too many may cause the garbage disposal to jam up. (c) Run it for 30 seconds or so and then rinse it with cold water.
SHOWER TIP
To prevent a clog in your shower stahl place a strainer in the drain opening. It will catch most of the hair and soap scum. The strainer will prevent less visits from the plumber.
TOILET TIP
To determine if you need to call the plumber or a septic cleaner when your mainline plumbing is installed with a septic tank you go and look at the cleanout which is a cap that sticks out of the ground usually found outside near a bathroom. Take the cap off and if the water runs off for 20 minutes than you will need to call a septic company to come out and clean the drain. Now if the water stays in the cleanout then you should call WOLF ROOTER to clean your drain.
